Lowell Devils Annual Food Drive Begins November 7
Donations to benefit the Merrimack Valley Food Bank

LOWELL, Mass. – The Lowell Devils Annual Food Drive, benefitting the Merrimack Valley Food Bank, will commence on Saturday, November 7 when the Devils face the Providence Bruins at 7:00PM.  Fans that bring non-perishable items to the Tsongas Arena during the food drive will receive a free ticket voucher to a future Devils home game. 

For the third consecutive season, the Devils have partnered with the Merrimack Valley Food Bank in their mission to provide those in need. The food drive will run through Saturday, November 14 when Lowell and Providence once again battle at 7:00PM.

The focus of the Merrimack Valley Food Bank is to help meet a person's most profound need - adequate nutrition and freedom from hunger.  Food pantries served by the Merrimack Valley Food Bank assist families in stretching their food dollars.  The Merrimack Valley Food Bank distributes an average of 2 million pounds of food annually through a network of 100 emergency feeding agencies, including shelters, soup kitchens and food pantries in 25 communities.
