FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When is the All-Star Game?
The All-Star match up will be played at 3PM on March 20th. The game will be played prior to the Lowell Devils game that will take place later that evening at 7PM.

When should players arrive?
Players should arrive between 12:00PM and 12:30PM on the day of the game. 

Where is the game being played?
The game is being played at the Tsongas Center.  The address to the Arena is 300 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Lowell, MA, 01852.   If you are using a GPS to find the arena, some systems recognize the address as 300 Arcand Drive, Lowell, MA, 01852.

Where do I park?
Parking is located in a number of locations including street parking near the arena.  The two main locations to park are in the Ayotte Garage for a cost of $5 per car or in the lot directly across from the Arena for a price of $10 per car.  All parking areas are operated by the City of Lowell.

Will I be able to leave the arena and return for the Devils game later?
Re-entry will be allowed for all ticket holders. Please be sure that your ticket has the phrase "ALSTAR" on the top right side of the ticket. If it does not, please stop by the Lowell Devils office to have your ticket stamped.

May I bring a camera or video recording device to the All-Star Game?
Yes you may bring such a device and use it during the All-Star Game.  You are not allowed however to use video recording devices or cameras with telephoto lens at the Lowell Devils game later that evening. 

What is the game format?
The game will be played as a regular High School hockey game, meeting all MIAA rules and regulations, three (3) 15 minute stop time periods.

What is the cost per ticket?
Tickets for the All-Star Game can be purchased for $10 each.  Each ticket purchased for the All-Star Game will also give you access to the Lowell Devils game later that day. You can purchase tickets online by clicking this link.

How will the players be selected?
Players will be selected by the MSHCA. Once selected the players will be notified be phone and/or mail by the Lowell Devils.

Who is eligible to participate in the game?
Players will be selected from all three divisions of participating MIAA schools that currently have a Varsity Men’s hockey team.

Will you be hosting a women’s All-Star Game?
This year we currently do not have an All-Star game scheduled for women’s hockey, however based off the current success of this year’s men’s game it is our goal to hold one next year for the 2010-2011 season. 

If my son plays in the All-Star Game does that mean that he is being scouted by the Lowell Devils or any other professional/college team?
Although we have invited representatives from both the college and professional ranks to attend this event, it does not mean that your son will be drafted or be contacted by a representative from one of these types of organizations.
